We are two sculptors on a quest to discover distinctive stones from our homeland of Curaçao and around the world, including Italy, Portugal, India, Brasil, Kenya, and China. Through organic sculpture, we bring our creative visions to life, working with marble from Italy and Portugal and soapstone from across the globe. We also shape Curaçao limestone, often enriched with quartz crystals and sandstone, into pieces that invite closer exploration. Combining our skills and passion for stone, we aim to offer a distinctive perspective on organic sculpture.
We take pride in our selection of exquisite materials, including the esteemed Italian Calacatta de Oro white marble, sourced from the Apuan Alps in Carrara, Tuscany and Portuguese marble from the Estremoz Anticline, a rich geological limestone and marble formation in the Alentejo region. Additionally, we utilize the robust and visually striking Brazilian soapstone, known for its subtle yet luxurious appearance, extracted from the quarries of Minas Gerais. Our collection also features the intricate and captivating Curaçao Limestone, characterized by its unique blend of rosy hues, embedded crystal formations, and rugged fossilized layers. Together, these materials exemplify the remarkable diversity and beauty of the art medium we sculpt.
